I'm pretty sure the Express was built for me. A truck with a base-model interior, a V8, and a nice looking exterior. Also known as exactly what I want in a truck. No chrome is an added bonus.
I'm gonna call $38k not bad for a 4-wheel drive, V8, double cab pickup.

Looks like Papa Smurf just blew his load all over that truck.

The blue looks a lot better in person than their configurator.

This seems like what I wanted when I worked at Hughes Aircraft back in the GM days. But they didn't make the extended cab with a sporty exterior - it was one or the other. It's good to see manufacturers have learned.

Yup, all of the big three offers something like this now. Chevy has the 2WT trim level, Ford has the STX, and Dodge the Express.

That does look nice. Screen shot is a bit blury, but are they now putting the 8-speed trans behind the Hemi?

The 8-speed is optional on the Express, but yes it is available.

That's an option worth checking.
